Google · Meta · Zoho CRM — real account data

80–160 leads a month. About half of them close.

The full-funnel paid media strategy behind it — Google Search & Display, Meta remarketing & lead gen, and LinkedIn for account-based reach — pulled straight from the ad accounts and the CRM.

01 — The Strategy

One funnel, three channels doing different jobs.

Rather than running Google, Meta, and LinkedIn as separate budgets competing for the same credit, each channel is built for a specific stage of the buyer journey — and every lead lands in the same Zoho CRM pipeline for the sales team to work.

Google Search
Capture high-intent searches — "hotel mapping api", "hotel booking api" — where buyers are already evaluating
Google Display & Remarketing
Stay visible to warm visitors across the display network while they finish evaluating suppliers
Meta Lead Gen
Native lead forms for webinars, events, and lookalike audiences — low-friction top-of-funnel capture
Meta Remarketing
Video & retargeting ads to push warm traffic toward starting a trial
Zoho CRM
Every lead — paid, organic, or event-sourced — lands in one pipeline the sales team actually works
This case study covers the Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts plus Zoho CRM Analytics in detail. LinkedIn is part of the channel mix strategically (account-based reach for the events and enterprise motion) but wasn't included as a data export this round — happy to fold it in if you share a LinkedIn Campaign Manager report.
02 — Google Ads

"hotel mapping"283113.9%

"api hotels" alone drives more clicks and conversions than any other keyword in the account — a strong signal that buyers searching by product category, not brand name, are the highest-intent traffic.

— Where the Budget Actually Goes

Networks, devices, and who's actually searching.

The account-level splits behind the headline Google Ads numbers — where cost concentrates, which device drives clicks vs. spend, and the demographic pattern behind the 53% of impressions with known age/gender.

By network

NetworkShare of clicksShare of costAvg. CPC
Google Search2.8%80.3%₹307.49
YouTube0.0%0.3%₹229.16
Search Partners0.6%3.0%₹50.02
Display Network61.8%11.3%₹1.92
Cross-network34.8%5.1%₹1.54
Search absorbs 80% of spend for under 3% of clicks — expected, since search intent is worth the premium. Display and Cross-network deliver 97% of clicks for 16% of cost, which is the right shape for a network built to stay visible cheaply while Search does the converting.

By device

DeviceShare of costShare of impressionsShare of clicks
Mobile phones21.9%53.6%84.7%
Computers76.9%33.9%9.7%
Tablets1.0%10.2%5.2%
TV screens0.2%3.0%0.4%
Mobile earns 84.7% of clicks on just 21.9% of spend — the most efficient device by a wide margin. Computers absorb over three-quarters of the budget (mostly the high-CPC Search network) for under 10% of clicks. Worth testing a deliberate mobile bid adjustment.

Who's searching

Based on the 53% of impressions with known gender and age, the concentration sits squarely in males aged 25–34, tapering through 35–44 and dropping off past 55 — consistent with a B2B travel-tech buyer persona (OTA/travel-tech decision-makers, not consumer travelers).

Top-performing ad creative

Search ad · SEA_Competitor_Search / giata_Exact
Vervotech – Map hotel & rooms | Dealing with multiple suppliers
Targets OTAs struggling with unique hotel listings, offers a free trial, and leads with scale proof points: 400+ suppliers, 90M+ inventory, 1,000+ brands, 3M unique hotels.
528,332 impressions
10,617 clicks
2.01% CTR
This ad is deliberately running against competitor terms (giata, a rival mapping provider) — the copy leads with concrete numbers rather than adjectives, which lines up with why the "api hotels" category-intent keyword also outperforms: specificity is winning across both search and creative.
03 — Meta Ads

1,940 form leads for ₹732K in spend.

Account-level totals, Jun 2023 – Jul 2026, from the Meta Ads Manager export. Meta is split cleanly between lead-generation campaigns (native forms) and remarketing campaigns (pushing warm traffic to start a trial).

Lead campaigns by cost efficiency

CampaignLeadsSpend (₹)Cost / lead
TC_26_Lead_3-12-20251,706196,663₹115
TC_Retargeting_Lookalike (1%)15029,913₹199
Reconfirmation_Webinar_20.05.202684132,051₹1,572
TC_26_Lead is doing the heavy lifting: 88% of all Meta form leads at roughly 1/14th the cost per lead of the webinar reconfirmation campaign. That's the clearest budget-reallocation signal in the account — shift spend toward lookalike/lead-form campaigns and away from webinar reconfirmation retargeting.

Funnel-bottom & awareness campaigns

Remarketing 02 (ad)Trial started343210,500₹614

Travel Connections_IndiaLanding page views6,71411,207₹1.67
Travel Connections Video_IndiaThruPlay98873₹0.07
Travel Connections_Middle EastLanding page views19625₹32.91
Inside the Remarketing campaign, one ad variant ("Remarketing 02") produces 95% of trial starts at roughly 1/10th the cost of the other two variants combined — a clear case for killing the underperforming creative and reallocating its budget. The Travel Connections video ad is essentially free reach at ₹0.07 per ThruPlay, which is doing its job as top-of-funnel awareness rather than direct response.

Organic & Paid deal volume grew 45% year-over-year, and Outbound's average won deal size nearly doubled (↑92.4%) even on fewer, higher-quality deals — while Events cooled off significantly, likely reflecting the shift in focus toward the curated Travel Connections format over broader event activity.

06 — Recommended Next Steps

Five moves the data itself is pointing at.

Not general best practice — specific reallocations backed by the numbers above.

Expand category-intent search
"api hotels" converts at 7.7% — build out adjacent category terms instead of leaning further on brand/competitor terms
Reallocate webinar retargeting budget
₹1,572/lead is 13.7x TC_26_Lead's cost — shift that budget into the lookalike lead campaign instead
Kill underperforming remarketing creative
Two ad variants cost 10x more per trial than "Remarketing 02" for a fraction of the results — pause and reinvest
Audit Middle East search
0.63% CTR vs. 3.49% in Europe on similar spend levels — check ad relevance and landing page fit before cutting
Protect the Outbound motion
Revenue up 140.5% YoY on 46.7% more deals — the highest-leverage channel in the whole mix right now
05 — The Bottom Line

Consistent lead flow, and a pipeline that believes it.

The 80–160 leads/month and ~50% close rate are the team's own reported operating range. The account and CRM data above is what's actually producing it — a search program built on the keywords that convert, a Meta program with a clear cheapest-lead-source to double down on, and a CRM pipeline that grew 12.6% year-over-year even while total deal count dipped slightly — meaning the leads coming through are worth more per deal, not just more in volume.

A note on the numbers: Google Ads and Meta Ads figures are in INR (native platform currency); Zoho CRM figures are in USD (native CRM currency) — no conversion applied, so they aren't summed against each other. Google Ads totals cover June 2020–July 2026 (all-time); Meta Ads totals cover June 2023–July 2026 — the two windows don't match, so a single "combined spend" figure isn't like-for-like. Every calculated metric (CTR, cost/lead, cost/result) is computed directly from the underlying export, not estimated.
